Links Page Club Picture Area Upcoming Events Club Info New Member Info Grabber Green Members Only Area HOME		Directions to our Flying Site - Grabber Green Geographically our airfield located by Portage la Prairie in Central Manitoba just off the Trans Canada Hwy between Winnipeg and Brandon. We are approx 50 minutes from the Winnipeg Perimeter and 1 hour from Brandon. For proper instructions from multiple locations pick one from the options below: From the East: From the West: From the North: From the South: From the East: Winnipeg - Follow the TransCanada west (towards Portage) and turn South at the Oakville turnoff (approx 51km from Wpg). Drive south for approx 3kms then turn west on PR 331. After 11.8km's, you will turn South on the old school house road. Follow the road for 1.6km's and turn east - you will see the red/white building near our field. Follow this road for 1/2 km and you will see the entrance into the field. (click here to go back to top) From the North: Neepawa - Follow Hwy 16 East to the TransCanada Hwy. You will then turn east towards Portage. You will then take the second Portage exit south. At approx 3km's you will meet an intersection that you will turn east onto PR 331. After 7km's, you will turn South on the old school house road. Follow the road for 1.6km's and turn east - you will see the red/white building near our field. Follow this road for 1/2 km and you will see the entrance into the field. The easiest way to do this is for yourself to find Portage la Prairie on the Map then follow these instructions to our airfield: Once you have Portage, you need to take the Southport Exit to the South at approx 3km's you will meet an intersection that you will turn east onto PR 331. After 7km's, you will turn South on the old school house road. Follow the road for 1.6km's and turn east - you will see the red/white building near our field. Winnipeg - Follow the TransCanada west (towards Portage) and turn South at the Oakville turnoff (approx 51km from Wpg). Drive south for approx 3kms then turn west on PR 331. There is too many directions to list from one specific point from the South. The easiest way to do this is for yourself to find Portage la Prairie on the Map then follow these instructions to our airfield: Once you have Portage, you need to take the Southport Exit to the South at approx 3km's you will meet an intersection that you will turn east onto PR 331. After 7km's, you will turn South on the old school house road. Follow the road for 1.6km's and turn east - you will see the red/white building near our field. Follow this road for 1/2 km and you will see the entrance into the field.
